American found dead

JAKARTA (JP): An American lawyer was found dead in room 1423
of the Mandarin Oriental in Central Jakarta on Monday afternoon.

The victim, identified as 50-year-old Mark Anthony Christiny,
a resident of 205 West 57th Street, New York 10107, was found
dead by the bellhop at around 2 p.m.

Central Jakarta Police detectives chief Adj. Sr. Comr. A.R.
Yoyol confirmed the incident, but was unable to specify a cause
of death.

"We have to wait for the results of the autopsy but so far it
hasn't been carried out," Yoyol told The Jakarta Post on Monday
