AmCham elects new president
JAKARTA (JP): The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Indonesia elected its new board members for 2001-2002 on Wednesday, with chairman of the Castle Group James Castle being reelected as president.
Castle was joined on the board by Arthur Andersen's Frank Shea as first vice president, Asuransi AIU Indonesia's Peter Meyer as second vice president, and George Whitfield of Executive Orientation Services as secretary, the chamber said in a statement.
The new governors are Arian Ardie of Van Zorge, Heffernan; Gary Christian of CS Consultant; James Filgo of Consolidated Services; Andrew Cobham of Motorola Indonesia; and Jeff Offutt of Global Silverhawk.
They join incumbent governors Dan Goldsmith of Indonesia Executive Search, Richard Ness of Newmont Pacific Nusantara, and Carol Hessler of Mission Energy. (tnt)
