Alleged drug dealer arrested

JAKARTA (JP): Police have arrested a 21 year-old man believed
to be an Ecstasy dealer in his rented house on Jl. Hayam Wuruk,
Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Police Chief Lt. Col. Abubakar Nataprawira
said that the man, Dicky Woworuntu, was arrested on Sunday night.

He said the police also seized 120 ecstasy pills classified as
the "Paman Gober" type.

"We had been watching the suspect for a week," Abubakar said
yesterday.

He said Dicky had admitted to selling the pills for Rp 40,000
(US$17.09) each.

He said the police received a tip that Dicky often sells the
pills in the Hard Rock Cafe on Jl. Thamrin.

The police tried to nab Dicky at the cafe on May 16 but they
found nothing, he added. (jun)
