Allah, please forgive us

Allah, do You want to liquidate us completely,

that You sent down viruses of uncertainty

which undermine our self-confidence every day?

Now truth has looked less true

It is too realistic to be true

and it may also become less wrongful

But often times it is more unlawful

Loyalty is confused with treachery

War and peace are no longer different

Greed and blessing have no criteria

Law violation and devotion know no border

Wisdom has pushed law into the corner

Power has trampled justice, jailed it without trial

Reason has terrorized conscience

and ostracized it beyond tolerance

Allah, how will You decimate us

You have sent down viruses of uncertainty

which undermine our faith every day

Allah, forgive us.
