Alfa opens Surakarta outlet

JAKARTA (JP): PT Alfa Retailindo, a publicly listed retail and
wholesale chain, opened on Monday its newest outlet in Surakarta
(Solo), Central Java.

Alfa said that the new outlet, located in the Solo Baru
housing complex, is its second outlet in Surakarta or the 23rd in
the country.

The company invested some Rp 1.46 billion to open the new
outlet, which will stock about 11,000 products.

Alfa's total sales, which reached Rp 1.46 trillion during the
first nine months of this year, are expected to reach about Rp
1.67 trillion by the end of the year.(hen)
