Airline ad (1)

I was intrigued by your announcement on Sept.3 which aimed to stop any misunderstandings caused by Eva Air's advertisement which inadvertently offered a round-trip to the United States for US$150.

Aside from the fact that the announcement also contained a couple of errors, what is truly astounding is that Eva Air, given the chance to correct this huge howler, didn't bother to correct all the other mistakes in their ad, for example, "Maximum 12 years old of age ...", "For further informations ..", "This is only for who will depart ...", "Eva Air also offers in serving you as a king", "Free enrollment ...". And the one I liked best: "It's now the time for whom with an outstanding personality like you to join Evergreen Club."

This is appallingly dire stuff, and nauseatingly obsequious to boot.
