Air India to serve Jakarta
JAKARTA (JP): Air India will start direct flights today from Jakarta to Delhi via Singapore, the airline said here yesterday.
Since October 1993 the airline has served flights between Jakarta and Bombay on Tuesdays and Sundays.
The new service connecting Jakarta and Delhi will replace the Tuesday Jakarta-Bombay flight, it said.
The airline said that the new service will facilitate tourism between the two countries. (hdj)
