Air Force pilot killed in freak accident

JAKARTA: An Indonesian Air Force pilot died in a freak
accident on Tuesday after he was hit by the rotor blades of his
helicopter in West Java.

The pilot failed to duck his head while inspecting his engine
following an emergency landing in a rice field in the Subang
area, said Suwita, an official with the district Air Force base.
