Academy, is likely to be appointed the new deputy chief of the
National Police, a senior officer said on Monday.

"Pak Ahwil will most probably be appointed National Police
deputy chief soon," National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Erald

was assigned to coordinate the National Police chief's staff of
experts, and previously he was secretary to the National Central
Bureau of Interpol Indonesia."

several overseas courses and training on drug enforcement and
police management training.

A graduate of the School of Law at Pancasila University, Ahwil
took his master's in business administration at Gregorio Areneta
University in the Philippines.

His police education included studying at Drug Enforcement

and the Narcotics Law Enforcement School in Tokyo, Japan.

Ahwil also took overseas seminars on organized crime in Tokyo,
