Aftershock jolts ravaged Aceh

BANDA ACEH, Aceh: More aftershocks again rocked the city of Banda
Aceh on Sunday morning.

No fatalities or infrastructure damage was reported after the
5.7 magnitude earthquake that struck at 9.55 a.m and lasted for
about a minute.

An official at the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG),
Syahnan, said that the earthquake's epicenter was located in the
waters off Weh Island in Sabang, about 85.5 kilometers northwest
of Banda Aceh.

The latest earthquake happened about five weeks after the
devastating earthquake and tsunami on Dec. 26. -- Antara
