Africans hide Italian finery

ROME: Who would have thought that Eritrea would be a haven for collectors of fine Italian cars?

It seems owners of old Fiats and Alfa Romeos locked up their cars during the 30 years of struggle in the African country.

Now that things have returned to some degree of normalcy, Italian collectors are heading south to Eritrea to buy these classics from the owners.
