Affection toward mothers

I would like to congratulate Chandrika Radhakrishnan and The Jakarta Post, on behalf of every son/daughter on this earth, who carry so much love and affection for their respective mothers but cannot pen their feelings as effectively as was done in the powerful Mother's Day article In praise of older women -- our moms(The Jakarta Post, May 12).

It was a powerful piece of writing, charged with emotion, love and affection for a mother. I could personally visualize my own mother in each and every word.

And I am sure that every other reader would have experienced similar nostalgic memories.
