Aetna, Mashill tie-up
JAKARTA (JP): Aetna Life Indonesia, a subsidiary of Aetna International of the United States, and Bank Mashill Utama jointly launched on Tuesday the Aetna Visa Card.
Aetna Life Indonesia's president John V. Jones said the objective in launching the card was to enhance service capability to customers.
He said they would benefit from the convenience of paying premiums charged directly to their cards.
Jones said the payment method would prevent inadvertent lapses by policyholders in meeting premiums.
Aetna, which entered Indonesia in 1995, increased ownership to 80 percent in 1997 under its new name Aetna Life Indonesia. (29)
