AEI appoints committee members
The Indonesian Listed Companies Association (AEI) has appointed Airlangga Hartarto as chairman, Bacelius Ruru as chairman of the advisory council and Rosano Barack as chairman of the honorary council for its 2005-2008 tenure.
During the AEI gathering on Monday, Airlangga underlined that he would focus on the implementation of good corporate governance to counter the survey from Political and Economic Risk Consultancy (PERC) Hong Kong, which listed Indonesia as the most corrupt country in Asia.
Meanwhile, Bacelius suggested that the AEI push for incentives to be provided for publicly listed companies as they have contributed in building trust in business here. -- JP
