Advocaat to attend Nike soccer c'ship

JAKARTA (JP): Former Dutch soccer coach Dick Nicollas Advocaat
has confirmed his arrival at the Asia Pacific Nike Premier Soccer
Championship from June 7 to June 12.

The 50-year-old Advocaat, who brought PSV Eindhoven to win the
Super Cup in 1996, is scheduled to give a coaching clinic to the
participants.

The championship, which will take place at the Soemantri
Brodjonegoro stadium in Kuningan, South Jakarta, will feature
China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines
and Indonesia.

The West Java team, which won the under-14 Nike Djamiat
tournament in April, will represent Indonesia in the
championship. The organizers will also feature the shooting
contest to all participants during the championship. (yan)
