Advertorial content
There is a worrying tendency among the media in general to mix editorial content with advertisements. In The Jakarta Post, this has generally been more obvious in photo sections (with pictures of product launchings, etc.) and in special sections. But two articles in the Post on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001 seem to have taken this one step further. I refer to the articles on page 4 regarding the developments at British Airways and Singapore Airlines. At best, this could be considered "advertorial" content.
I do hope this type of content can be contained.
