Aditya wins computer programming contest

Aditya Kristanto Gunawan of Kanisius Senior High School (SMA) won
a computer programing contest organized by the University of Bina
Nusantara on Sunday.

The organizing committee said that the contest was attended by
25 senior high school students from around the
country.

Aditya managed to answer four of seven questions prepared by
the organizing committee and bagged Rp 2.5 million (US$250) in
prize money.

He will also have the opportunity to represent Indonesia in
the Asian Informatics Communication Technology Competition 2005,
an annual competition, to be held in Vietnam later this year.

The organizing committee said that the University of Bina
Nusantara would also offer a full scholarship if he decided to
enroll at the university. --JP
