Ade, Tracy get WHO award

JAKARTA: Minister of Health Achmad Sujudi presented the World
Health Organization (WHO) awards on Sunday to national
bodybuilding champion Ade Rai and local model Tracy Trinita for
encouraging the youth in Indonesian society to live a healthy
lifestyle.

The awards were presented to Ade and Tracy at the Depok campus
of the University of Indonesia (UI), in a ceremony marking the
54th anniversary of World Health Day which falls on April 7.

Both Ade and Tracy were appointed as WHO Ambassadors in
Indonesia to campaign for a sporty lifestyle, free of drugs,
cigarettes, drinking, communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Hundreds of people, including WHO representatives and members
of the Indonesian Sports Federation (Fomi), attended morning
exercises marking World Health Day in the Ministry of Health
compound in Kuningan, South Jakarta on Sunday morning.

After the exercises, Sujudi went on to open a ceremony in
celebration of World Health Day at UI, which was marked by
exercises, sports competitions and a dialog on health issues. --
