Adaro picks 'Mincom' software

JAKARTA (JP): Coal mining company PT Adaro Indonesia has
chosen Mincom's software, Minescape 4, for its mine planning
system in its coal mine in South Kalimantan.

"We believe that Mincom's Minescape will allow us to
effectively address all the technical complexities and challenges
posed by our coal reserve," Adaro's operation manager Putu
Sastrawan said in a media release.

Adaro, which produces 12.4 million tons of coal, is 50 percent
owned by New Hope Corporation, 10 percent by Mission Energy and
40 percent by Asminco Bara Utama. (jsk)
