Action films on TV

From Neraca

TV stations seem to have a predilection for action films to lure advertisers because this genre of films is said to attract a great number of viewers. RCTI, for example, presents action films in its Golden Screen series.

There is as yet no in-depth study of the impact of TV action films on viewers' behavior.

But, however small it may be, there must be an influence on children's behavior. The Golden Screen action films are shown before children go to bed. Therefore, TV organizers should seriously censor action films. Unfortunately censorship of those films, especially Western action films, is not done properly.

I have observed that Western action films use plenty of dirty words (in English), but RCTI does not censor them. Children may adopt those words without understanding them. I have heard children using invectives they must have heard in action films.

I would suggest to RCTI to delete the dirty words. I don't think it would disrupt the story of the film.
