Acehnese nabbed with marijuana

JAKARTA: Jagakarsa Police arrested two Acehnese men on Friday morning at a house in Parung, Bogor, where officers found eight kilograms of marijuana.

"The suspects are big dealers," said Jagakarsa Police chief of detectives First Insp. Endang Adri, adding that the two had been wanted by the East Jakarta and South Jakarta police.

The suspects were identified as Ivan Ardiansyah, 32, and Jamaludin, 30.

Police sources said the two recently sold 100 kilograms of marijuana to dealers at Rp 2.6 million (US$295) per kilogram. -- JP
