Aceh industrial estate

JAKARTA (JP): Malaysia's Tadmonsori Sdn BHD and South Korea's Sigma AIP will join with PD Bina Usaha and PD Pembangunan Aceh to operate and manage an industrial estate in Aceh.

North Aceh regent, Karimuddin Hasybullah, said Monday the four companies would spend Rp 130 billion (US$53.74 million) developing the industrial estate.

Tadmonsori will own 65 percent of the industrial estate, Sigma 20 percent, Bina Usaha 12 percent and Pembangunan Aceh 3 percent.

The 85-hectare industrial estate will be in Reulet village, Muara Batu district, 15 kilometers west of Lhokseumawe.

Karimuddin said the industrial district would provide about 7,200 jobs. (02)
