Accords for U.S.

TOKYO: For the first time in two years, the Honda Motor Co will export Accords to the United States.

Honda's U.S. facility in Ohio is undergoing remodeling in preparation for a new model to be released later this year.

This has reduced capacity, necessitating an input of 20,000 Accords from Japan.

Last year, Accord sales accounted for almost half of Honda's U.S. car sales.
