Academic ties with Malaysia

PEKANBARU, Riau: The University of Riau is setting up joint
programs with a number of universities in Malaysia, including an
exchange of staff lecturers.

Abdul Halim H.J. Hasan, dean of the School of Accounting at
University of North Malaysia, said here Monday that the program
could also include the exchange of students.

"The cooperation should help us understand each other's
curriculums," he was quoted by Antara as saying. (swe)
