ACA insurance disappoints me
I have a Polis Standar Kendaraan Bermotor policy, No.
21-01-02-013613, with PT Asuransi Central Asia (ACA) for my
Hyundai Traje, license number B 8078 MT. On Sept. 11 on Jl.
Pramuka a motorcycle crashed into the back of my car, causing
subsequent damage.
I let my staff file a claim with ACA at the Duta Merlin
branch. After checking the damage, Gunawan, an ACA employee, said
they would provide me a substitute car while my car was repaired,
which would take about 10 days.
The next day we took the car to the appointed workshop, PT
Pirasa Kencana Motor. However, the workshop had not received a
work order from ACA. We had to wait and, to my disappointment,
they informed us that we could not have a substitute car as no
car was available. Nobody at ACA seemed to be able to come up
with a satisfactory solution to my problem.
If they cannot provide a substitute car, they should delete
the clauses concerning this matter from the company's policy.
