Abusive security guard

Security guards at the Dragon Fly, a new hangout located on the ground floor of Graha BIP on Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, threatened and manhandled me.

I arrived at about 11:45 p.m. on April 30 to pick up some women friends who were inside. When I arrived, security guards would not let me in because a private party was being held and only those on the list were allowed to enter.

I tried to call my friends but, due to the loud music, they couldn't hear their phones. Strangely, other people were allowed to just walk straight in pass the security guards without a problem.

Then one of my friends, an American, came out and asked me to come in for a while. But the security guard blocked my way and told my friend that the silk dress I was wearing was not formal enough. This led to a quarrel and my other friends came out and told me just to walk inside.

When I passed the security guards, I was pulled hard and rudely by one of them, and by reflex I slapped him. Unexpectedly, another guard called Roy approached me and slapped me hard on the face. A security guard has no right to do such a thing.

What a pity that a "hip" place like Dragon Fly does not treat customers properly.
