Abducted villager found dead
DILI, East Timor: A local resident, Carlito Maulaka, who was believed to have been abducted by separatist guerrillas on Sunday has been found dead with eight stab wounds to his body.
His body was found 10 kilometers from where he was kidnapped inside a secluded cave.
According to East Timor Military Commander Col. Slamat Sidabutar, Carlito, 27, was abducted from his village by three armed men.
After hearing the report, military forces went in pursuit. Carlito's body was found on Tuesday, with no sign of his abductors.
