Abang and None contest planned

The North Jakarta Mayor's office is inviting male and female residents between 18 and 25 years of age to participate in the 1994 Abang and None (Mr. and Miss) Jakarta contest.

Winners of the contest will later compete with other participants from the city's five mayoralties in an Abang and None contest at the national level.

Those interested in taking part in the contest are invited to register with the North Jakarta Tourism Office.

Contestants must be Indonesian citizens, at least senior high school graduates, and single.

Female contestants should be at least 155 centimeters tall while males participants at least 160 centimeters.

Last year, the North Jakarta won both titles of Abang and None Jakarta. (bsr)
