AAJ Associates mulls tie-up

JAKARTA (JP): Local consulting group AAJ Associates plans to
establish a joint venture with Origin, the Singapore-based global
information technology consultant, to support its expansion
program.

AAJ president Amir Abadi Jusuf said here on Friday that Origin
provided a wide range of technical assistance which would improve
his company's services.

"We are considering the possibility of establishing a joint
venture within the next two years," Amir said at a media
conference held in conjunction with the company's 15th
anniversary.

Amir said the group -- which provides a range of consulting
services including in management and auditing, accounting and
taxation -- established its IT division last year to strengthen
its consulting business.

"With the IT (information technology) approach, we can
accelerate the restructuring process of corporates, which will be
a value-added service to our clients", he said.

AAJ Associates is part of RSM International global accounting
