A round of applause

The month-long exploration of contemporary performances at Art Summit Indonesia is finally coming to an end.

A performance by BlackSkyWhite theater troupe of Russia on Sunday evening will close the international festival, which has presented artistic creations of select artists from 14 countries.

This year's festival, which marked the inclusion of visual arts for the first time, went on as planned amid funding constraints, making it worthy of praise for giving art addicts the culture fix they need.
