A pun on hypocrisy

With reference to your article on Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997 (page one) Many doctors suffer from hippocracy, I wonder whether "hippocracy" should be spelled "hypocrisy" (see Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary Unabridged Second edition 1983 p. 896 and The Contemporary English Indonesian Dictionary by Peter Salim, first edition 1985 p. 916).

Since The Jakarta Post is becoming a popular source of information for students practicing their English, please avoid misspelling or unnecessary annoying mistakes?

Note: We used "hippocracy" as a pun on the word "hypocrisy" because the Hippocratic Oath was obviously not practiced by the doctors referred to in the article.
