A Monument To Marriage
I have decided, the homeland of love
shall be the garden where I blossom
the mosque where I shall arise
I descend from the winds
I plant my feet deep into my fears
I pull my hands far into my final breath
This is the home from longing
where love finds shelter in the night
whirling sinking rising
I lift my face towards you light
of my house and home
the unending darkness
pierces the ceiling and your roof
prayers resounding
eternally smitten with love
I gaze at you inside myself
