A beautiful lightning flash

My mother comes out of the bathroom
humming a song,
flashing a smile
like beautiful lightning
while she passes
before me,
as I play with a rabbit puppet

My mother comes out of her room
smelling of perfume
like a professional model
a shawl around her neck
covering the large mole
located right in the southeast
of her shapely chin
I love to caress it
every night
before I fall asleep

Before going to work
my mother likes to kiss me
goodbye,
blowing the horn of her car
saying bye, bye dear
before she departs hastily

My mother calls me
three times from the office
First she asks: "Have you had your lunch?"
Afterwards: "Have you done your homework?"
And last:"I'll be rather late, darling,
you go to bed on time,
and don't forget your milk."

I'm proud of my mom
although my grandmother says:
"Really she doesn't love you
as much she loves her bag,
her job and her mobile phone."
But I love her deeply
without really knowing why.
