82 year old found murdered

TANGERANG (JP): An 82-year-old woman was found dead with her throat badly slashed in her home in Cipondoh subdistrict last week.

An officer said the woman might have been killed by the thieves who stole the family's car.

They also suspected that the crimes involved Bejo, a man who had worked for and lived with the family over the past two years. He was involved in a bitter argument with one of the family members hours before the incident and had since disappeared.

The owner of the house, Ester, 45, said the incident happened at about 00:30 a.m. when she was awaken by the sound of her car being started. She looked out of the window only to see it being driven away.

Ester ran into the street and screamed for help but to no avail. She then returned to the house to find a knife covered in blood in the living room and realized what had happened when she saw the elderly woman in bed. (41)
