8 players qualify for selection

JAKARTA (JP): Eight tennis players, five of them top seeds,
qualified for national selection in June after beating their
opponents in pre-selection matches between May 5 and May 7.

Davis Cup player Donny Susetyo, Marco Sitepu, Djanuar Radjab
and Stanley Sanger qualified for the men's team while old hand
Irawati M Iskandar, Liza Andriyani, Agustine Limanto, Vinca
Rampen were the women who qualified.

The players will challenge national squad members in round
robin matches to pick eight men and eight women for the national
team.

The team will represent Indonesia in international
tournaments, including the Davis and Federation Cups. (yan)
