7 to be prosecuted for illegal logging

JAMBI, Jambi: Forestry Office investigators handed over on Wednesday case files of seven suspects in an illegal logging case to Jambi Prosecutor's Office.

The suspects -- a transportation contractor and the six drivers -- were accused of being involved in illegal logging activities in Berbak National Park in Jambi.

They were arrested while transporting 188 cubic meters of illegal logs in Geragai area, Jambi province in June. -- JP
