60 referees set for nat'l league

JAKARTA (JP): Sixty referees who have obtained C-1 national certificates are being prepared for the seventh Indonesian soccer league next year.

The Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) official in charge of referees and matches, Ecky Tamtelahitu, said the referees had attended two courses that invited instructors from the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).

During the courses, the national referees were asked to do the Cooper tests which includes 50m and 200m runs and a review on the soccer rules. (ivy)
