30,000 Indonesians to vote in Singapore

BATAM, Riau: The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore has 14 polling booths for the 30,000 expatriates who will vote there Thursday.

"The number includes 2,000 Indonesians who are holders of the so-called AB cards," the head of the embassy's ballot collection committee, Joko Hardono, said over the weekend.

Holders of AB cards can vote at any Indonesian embassy.

Hardono said the polling station would be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., local time, Antara reported.

Those who cannot vote on May 29 could send their ballots to the embassy by June 4, he added.
