3-D glasses disappointing

BANDUNG, West Java: Many television viewers are disappointed
because the 3-D glasses they bought to enjoy comedies aired by
the RCTI television station are not as good as they expected.

"The comedies are not much different from the regular ones
seen without the glasses," a viewer told the Antara news agency
on Tuesday.

"We expected spectacular scenes," said Yanis Suryaatmadja who
bought the 3-D glasses for Rp 1,500 (63 US cents).

RCTI advertised that the popular comedy series Gara-gara,
Lika-liku Laki-laki, Ada-ada Saja and Remi can now be viewed with
special three-dimensional glasses, which cost from Rp 1,000 to Rp
2,500 here, and even more in other cities. (anr)
