24 youths join exchange program

KANDANGAN, Hulu Sungai Selatan: Twenty-four youths from Bali, Medan and Palembang began on Thursday a youth exchange program in Hulu Sungai Selatan, South Kalimantan province.

In the planned 45-day exchange program, the youths will learn about local cultures and study development being carried out in the regency. The youths are then expected to share their experiences with youths back home.

The 24 youths were received by Hulu Sungai Selatan Regent Safi'i in a ceremony on Thursday in which the regent spoke about history, culture and norms of local residents. The regent also explained his achievements in development. -- Antara
