JAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta Convention Center, venue of the APEC
conferences, has opened a 24-hour snack bar, knowing that some of
the delegates and journalists from countries with different time
zones will be working round the clock.

The canteen's menu ranges from the local fare nasi goreng
(fried rice) and bubur ayam (chicken rice porridge) to the more
international fast food items such as spaghetti and assorted
sandwiches.

Needless to say, you will find its prices similar to those
charge by five-star hotels. (als)
