23,000 to attend OracleWorld

JAKARTA: Oracle Corp., the world's largest enterprise software company, said Thursday that more than 23,000 attendees will take part in this year's OracleWorld San Francisco conference, held today through Nov. 14 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

During the conference, the company will address its use of Linux database clusters to provide fast data on-demand. Customers sessions will be one of the highlights with presentations from Dell, Intel, Red Hat and other Linux vendors, Oracle Indonesia said in a press release.

The whole events will feature 400 IT strategy and technology sessions in nine focus areas, including the popular "Meet the Guru" sessions which offer developers, database administrators (DBAs) and other technology experts the opportunity to interact directly with some of Oracle's most experienced architects and engineers in an informal setting.

There is also an exhibition featuring 220 Oracle partners. --JP
