2003 Bintang Expat Pool League underway

JAKARTA: The 2003 Bintang Expat Pool League is now in full
swing with three of the 15 weeks of competition now complete and
the D's Patriots have a commanding lead in Conference 2.

In Conference 1, Kinara/Fez shares first place with five
others after losing for the first time to the D's Raiders.

The league kicked off on March 18 and will finish in mid-June
with the final playoffs between the top three from each of the
two conferences.

The competing establishments are Aphrodite in Klub Rasuna,
BuGils in Taman Ria, Kinara/Fez lounge and Star Deli in Kemang,
P's Place in Jl. Jaksa, F-39 in Cilandak, as well as D's Place,
Oscar Pub, Top Gun and Sportsmans in Blok M.

Each team has between six and 15 players, mostly expatriate
residents and the matches are played on Tuesday nights at each of
the above cafes and bars, along with supplemental games on
Thursdays.
