20 years sought for alleged killer
MEDAN, North Sumatra: Prosecutors are seeking 20 years in prison for MH alias Ol, a 27-year-old man charged with killing Henny Tiorida Silalahi.
Prosecutor Kadirun told a court trial, presided over by Julizar, that the accused killed Henny, a 26-year-old student at a local private university last year. The defendant did it with three other men--known only as MDP, BH and HNS, who are also being tried for the same crime.
A police investigation revealed that MH agreed to help kill Henny at the request of MDP, Henny's teacher, who had been involved in an affair with the student.
MDP, a married man, planned the murder out of fear that Henny would reveal their two-year-old secret, Antara reported. (swe)
