20 arrested for drug cases
JAKARTA (JP): Three foreigners are among 20 people arrested in the past two weeks for drug-related crimes, police said.
City police detective chief Sr. Com. Adang Rochyana said that the suspects were arrested in the period between Sept. 11 and Sept. 25.
From the suspects, police have confiscated 52.2 grams of heroin, 17.3 grams of marijuana, 547 grams of shabu shabu (crystal methampetamine) and 58 ecstasy pills.
The first foreigner arrested by the police was Ucena Emanuel, 27, a Nigerian in the possession of 50 grams of heroin.
Two Saudi Arabians, Madjed Muhammad, 32, and Hesyam A. Muhammad Saeda, 30, were arrested possessing 4.8 grams of marijuana.
