180 golfers to contest c'ship

JAKARTA (JP): Seventy amateur and 110 professional golfers
will compete in the second Andersen Consulting Challenge Golf
Championship from Oct. 26 to Oct. 30 at the Pondok Indah Golf and
Country Club.

The event -- jointly organized by Pondok Indah Golf and
Country Club, Andersen Consulting Company and the Indonesian Golf
Association -- offers a total of Rp 82.5 million (US$11,460) in
prize money. The organizers also are offering Rp 10 million for a
hole-in-one.

Steven Lindskog, a native of Sweden who has lived in Indonesia
for about five years, is expected to defend his title. He will
face a tough challenge from a number of golfers, including Maan
and Kasiyadi. (ivy)
