132 Naval officers inducted
SURABAYA: Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Tanto Koeswanto yesterday swore in 132 Naval officers at the Navy Command Training School in Morokrembangan, here, yesterday.
One hundred and sixteen of the newly inducted officers, whose ranks are all Second Lieutenant, are graduates of the Navy Officers Training School, 15 are graduates of the Navy Fliers Training College, and the other one is a graduate of the Navy Career Officers Training School.
Twenty of the 116 are members of the Navy Women's Corps.
Tanto told the new officers that they have a moral obligation to set a good example through a high degree of discipline and professional attitudes. (bas)
