13 foreigners deported

BANJARMASIN, East Kalimantan: Immigration authorities during
the period between Sept. 1995 and April 1996 deported 13
foreigners for various violations, Antara reported yesterday.

Immigration office head Rudhy Chaidir said most of the
foreigners had misused their stay permits. Nine of the deported
foreigners were from China, the rest were Australian, Malaysian,
German and Myanmarese. (swe)
