12 organizations back Amien-Siswono

MUARA TEWEH, Central Kalimantan: An alliance of 12 organizations in North Barito regency, Central Kalimantan, pledged their support on Sunday for Amien Rais and his running mate in the upcoming election.

The 12 organizations consist of political parties, community organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGO).

Achmad Syarpani, the chairman of the Amien-Siswono campaign team in the regency, claimed that all the organizations had sat together to settle their differences over who would be the best choice for president and they were now united behind Amien Rais. -- Antara
