11 C. Java athletes join SEAG training

SEMARANG (JP): Eleven Central Java athletes will join the
centralized training program for the Kuala Lumpur 2001 Southeast
Asian Games.

The 11 athletes are judokas Wijayanto Purnomo and Lita
Theresia, billiard players Heson M and Sumarno, volleyballers M
Gufron, Agung, Budi Santoso and Rosalia Maya Puspa Dewi and
pencak silat fighters Haris Nugroho, Sigit Intantoro, Yulisa and
Ranisari.

The National Sports Council (KONI) Central Java chapter
chairman, Djoko Sudantoko, told reporters Thursday that the
athletes would join the program in early January. (har)
